Central Saanich, located on the Saanich Peninsula, has a rich agricultural heritage with almost 2/3 of the municipality located in the Agricultural Land Reserve. Central Saanich was incorporated as a Municipality on December 12, 1950. Today the main access from Victoria, to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal and the Victoria International Airport, is by the Patricia Bay Highway.

Brentwood Bay is a dynamic village located on Saanich Inlet, north of Victoria. The Butchart Gardens and Victoria Butterfly Gardens as well as other attractions are located in this village. Brendwood Bay offers to locals and visitors waterfront restaurants and other amenities. High quality accommodations integrated with nature and easy access from urban areas are part of this unique community.

Saanichton is a town situated between Victoria and the BC Ferry Terminal. The village is located west of the Pat Bay Highway, at the intersection of East Saanich Road and Mount Newton Cross Road.
