Village Park at the bridge

At the centre of the park is the Reading Circle. The Circle is used by Library's visitors and community members as a meeting space or a quiet place for contemplation.

The distinctive walkway through the Park is dedicated to Whistler's sister city Karuizawa, Japan. The colorful birdhouses were created in a family workshop under the playful guidance of local artist Isobel MacLaurin. (from 'storytelling' sign designed by Jimi Galvao and Kerry Clark)
